This page is for Byudge, published on Google Play by Byudge and on the App Store by Amal Nuritdinkhodzhaev.
Delete in the app
While signed in, open Settings → Profile → Delete account and confirm. If your subscription has ended, the app opens on the subscription screen; use the email route below. You need a successful server request. When the complete process succeeds, the app returns to the start screen and clears user records/settings on that device. An error or unchanged screen is not confirmation of completed deletion.
Request deletion without the app
Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Byudge account”. You do not need to reinstall the app. Tell us whether you used Google or Apple sign-in and the account email, if known. If Apple hid your email or you purchased without a Byudge account, say so; support will arrange proportionate verification. A User ID is optional, and we never need your password, sign-in code, token or card details.
We aim to acknowledge requests within three business days, without extending shorter legal duties. We carry out legally required erasure without delay and explain any lawful retention or necessary verification. Processing information and access requests are answered within seven working days. We tell you when the deletion process is complete.
Cancel billing separately
Account deletion does not cancel a subscription or itself create a refund. Cancel in the store where you bought it; Settings → Subscription opens the current platform's store. Cancel before the trial or billing period ends. For App Store trials, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
You can request data deletion without first canceling. We explain this separate step so that renewal charges do not surprise you.
What we remove
When complete account deletion runs, we remove:
- Your Byudge account and sessions, synced financial records, settings and subscription-status record, including financial records previously hidden by in-app deletion.
- Your stored assistant chats.
- Your sign-in audit history from our database; platform sign-in logs expire within 1 day. We also delete the profiles tied to your account ID at our analytics and subscription services, and request erasure of related events, purchase/customer records and associated installation identifiers. Purchases without a Byudge login are included in this request process. Successful account teardown clears user records/settings on the device used. This does not remotely erase another device's offline records or OS backups. Sign out or remove the app on other devices and manage their backups separately.
Copies that can remain
- Apple/Google purchase records: the stores retain their own payment records under their policies and applicable law.
- Safety copies at Google (Gemini API): deleting a chat or account does not itself erase them. The provider's retention and exceptions are stated in the Privacy policy.
- Analytics and diagnostic data: an installation ID can still identify you; it is not automatically anonymous or exempt from erasure. We include identifiable data in verified requests. Remaining event/report windows, account-linked profiles and genuinely anonymous statistics are distinguished in the Privacy Policy.
- Server and platform logs: technical records without question or answer text, kept for the short periods stated in the Privacy Policy.
- Support correspondence and provider backups: retention and deletion schedules are listed in the Privacy Policy; copies cannot be described as erased before those processes finish.
- Your device backups: managed through Apple, Google or the device provider, not remotely wiped by Byudge.
Delete a chat without deleting your account
Open ⋮ → Delete in the chat or Chat history and confirm. A successful server deletion removes the chat and its messages from the live server database. Byudge attempts to remove the local cache and queued questions too, but a device-storage failure can leave them behind even when the app reports success. Contact support if a local copy remains. The action does not immediately erase other devices or provider safety logs.
